Light golden color, elderly-floral aroma with a light apple hint. Alcohol is a bit more than a common cider, but not recognizable, which is great. Medium dry in a healthy way, tasty way. Great amount of fizz which make it look like a sparkling wine and give some luxury. Could be a little bit more stronger to make it to a special enjoyment taste wise (personal!) - but otherwise the decent flavour is well rounded. Would give it a decent 4.5 and can recommend it to a great party evening with friends or a cider tasting!

Aspall Premier Cru Cyder (6.8% ABV, 500ml). Only contains sulphite, no sweeteners nor colouring. Colour is pale clear yellow, Sauvignon Blanc-like. Aroma of green, tart apples, light acidity, unripe peach. Medium body, soft carbonation. Sourish, lemony apples, dry wine grapes, a modicum of sweetness following. Champagne yeast notes. Stronger acidity in the finish, with dry wine flavour. Greenish, sour apples and yeast in the aftertaste. I wonder why Aspall makes many different ciders that are really very similar in style. All dry, all sourish, all winey. The most distinguishing element here is the higher ABV, which delivers a slightly more rounded flavour and more "weight". 7/10

I had a later vintage (no year) at 6.8%. I have attached photos. I found it to be a great fully rounded "cyder". It has a clean but slightly woody taste, is moderately tart with a sweet finish and crispness that makes it far too drinkable. I was like Kylie, I just wanted More, more more!

Nice refreshing cider. Lacks a bit of taste though, otherwise I’d have given it a 5/5. It’s golden yellow, with a medium bite, the bubbles fizz on your tongue almost like a champagne. At 6.8% you can certainly feel the effects after (even) two of these bottles. A big bonus with this cider is it’s not that sweet. It’s light, refreshing with medium to light fruit taste and lightly tarty. It says it’s dry but it’s more of a medium dry in all fairness (to me, anyway). The cider is nice with a ploughman’s lunch or selection of cheeses. Another great cider from Aspall’s but just falling short of a 5/5 due to its lack of depth. Otherwise, it’s great and won’t disappoint.

beautiful Suffolk cider. Wonderful tangy taste with no hint of anything but apples. Wonderful no nonsense cider

Golden, clear with mid range fizz. Fresh apple aroma with some floral notes. Crisp and sharp but not much flavour to speak of.

I generally like Aspall ciders and this is no exception. A little sour, and a nice full flavour without being sweet.

Strong fruity aroma, with a little funk, and alcohol tang. Tart apple taste, with some slight bitterness in the aftertaste. However, disappointingly, the flavour does not develop in the mouth. Not up to the other Aspall's I have tasted.

The aroma is more strong. I could feel slight bitter taste mixed with sour taste. And also it feels quite thick.

I like a little funk with my cider, however, this is not as interesting as others.
