Comes in a 750 ml bottle, and is named for the woodland adjacent to the pear orchards where the fruit was grown. The perry is made from the Blakeney Red, Butt, Oldfield, and Thorn varieties.
Pale, lemon-yellow in colour, with a fragrant fruit aroma.
The flavour is of blossom and citrus, with a slightly sour aftertaste, and a wine-like mouth feel.
Easy to drink, and quite refreshing. A pleasant drink, if a little lacking in character.
