Tap pour at Capitol Cider tasting event with Bill Bradshaw and 9 WA cideries surrounding Cider Summit Seattle 2015. I’ve had a number of ciders from Alpenfire, but hadn’t even heard of this one (it looks like it may be tap only at this time and quite new?). I particularly like their Apocalypso and Spark! ciders. Described as a sweeter offering with some honeysuckle aromas and lightly oak aged. On the sweeter side of semi-sweet. Slightly hazy. I picked up some honey, pear, and mild herbal notes. No significant tannins, bitterness, acidity, tartness, etc. I thought it was rather complex for a simple cider! I really enjoyed it. Reviewed on 17 Oct 2015 1 like
