Solstice

Dark amber colour, clear with too much fizz for me but to be expected from a keeved cider. Aroma of ripe apple with some farmyard funk. This is rich and fruity with the flavours of dried fruit.

Comes in a 750ml champagne bottle. Dark bronze in colour, with an aroma, hinting at mellow fruit, fudge, and almonds. The flavour is rich, fruity, and spiced, with tones of plum, raisin, and spirit, and a sherry-like mouth feel and finish. More like an apple aperitif than a standard cider, this is a fabulous fireside, evening drink, and, at only 4.5% ABV, I polished off the entire bottle in one go, with some nice green olives.
