Somerset Keeved

Rich golden colour, with a light woody aroma, overlying moderate funk. Moderately fruity, with some bitter wood, and light funk in the aftertaste. Quite drinkable, if a little gassy. Nicely balanced between the fruit, the wood, and the funk; none dominates, and each contributes.

Dry,apple,funky

Decent apple aroma. Dark amber and hazy. Woody flavour. I know it’s keeved but it’s too gassy for me. I can’t drink it all.

An odd concoction of bitter, yet sweetish, but at the same time, semi- dry yet cloying. In any event, I’m not crazy for it. “Not my jam” (says Liz).

Nice drink but a slight bitter taste otherwise I would score it higher.

I don't usually like bitter and funky, but this one is interesting enough to keep me sipping. It manages to retain some sweetness and fruitiness in with the bitter.

Not too dry and a little funky. Nicely balanced, great example of a traditionally made Somerset cider.
