Morgan

Light golden colour, slightly hazy and lightly sparkling. Single variety cider. Sweet apple aroma with a little funk. Baked apple flavour with honey.

Perry's Morgan (6% ABV, 500ml). Another one of Perry's single variety ciders. made from 100% fresh Somerset apples, unfiltered. Pours a cloudy pale golden colour. Aroma is of dry apples, some farmyard funk, yeast. Medium body low carbonation. Strong sweetish yellow apples on the palate, balanced by moderate vinegar, and some funky barnyard. More lemony and tangy towards the middle, with a pleasantly tart finish; apples, yeast and lemon in the aftertaste. Appealingly "rough", but basically sweet and fruity cider. Very good. 8.5/10.

Golden hazy colour. Slight funk on the nose, followed by a sweetness. The flavours are mainly sweet, first couple of sips are great but it isn't giving you any extra after that. It doesn't taste like a 6% it tastes much lower than that.

A single variety cider, made from the Morgan Sweet dessert apple, with only slight carbonation. The aroma and flavour are of apple sauce, with a tartness in the flavour. Pleasant, but unremarkable.
