Premium Vintage

This came to me a mere 11 months past its "best before" date, so this may, or may not, be representative of the usual product. Bronze-coloured, with a sawdust aroma. Rich, mellow flavour, with a hint of plum, leading to a light tannic aftertaste, and a short finish. Very drinkable and pleasant cider, which will go with most accompaniments. I wonder if this was always this mellow, or whether this is down to the excess time in the bottle. Obtained from Somerset Cider Company.
