Rhubarb

One of Lilley's best, and that's saying something. Dark almost amber/gold coloured with a very strong rhubarb aroma that could actually be smelt as it was poured. Beautiful strong tart rhubarb taste with a hint of vanilla. A wonderful pint, and at only 4%, a perfect session drink 😀

Dark amber, with a stewed rhubarb and vanilla aroma. Stewed rhubarb flavour, with vanilla and ginger tones. Quite sweet and acidic, but still a pleasant and easy to drink cider, with quite natural flavours.

I stand by my statement that cider should only made from apples...but this Rhubarb "cider" ...was a night cap on a long tasting night...and it was magnificent. Sweet, syrupy with a cut of tannin to balance it out. I can still taste it and it's making my mouth water.. I only had a half as, you can definitely have too much of a sweet thing.
