Red Rabbit

Nothing to challenge the pallet here. It's another sweet offering from Lilley's...and again it's a bit too sweet. There's no tartness or bitterness to counter the sweetness. I wouldn't be back for another in a hurry.

Golden, a bit cloudy, orange notes. Lilley's ciders are famously sweet, they call this one medium dry but having a pronounced dry preference it's medium to me.

Dark golden colour, clear and still. Very light apple aroma. A sweet chemically smell is prominent. Light apple flavour followed by a big watery taste. I would suggest another one made from concentrate. The only still one in the pub. Very disappointing.

Definitely one of Lilley's best, a proper cider, beautiful apple aroma, wonderful apple taste, and no nasty chemical aftertaste, only apples. As you may have guessed I quite like this one 😄 Full bodied and at 6% well worth a session.
