The Lake Hopper

This is not what I was expecting from a hopped cider- I tend to hate hops. But this was pleasant, almost floral, like rosewater. An unexpected treat.

An interesting herbal ride to it...not overpowering but I can see how it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea.

Clear straw colored pour. Moderate carbonation. Moderate to strong aroma of apple and floral and citrus hops. Taste is moderately tart and lightly bitter. Flavors follow the nose with an acidic citrus flavor backed by some floral and bitter apple and rind notes.

half the sugar of the classic ciders and has hops, great for those who miss beer

Bright taste, full of hops. Very pleasant.

hops......need I say more. Has a nice and dry as well.
