Dark bronze, with an aroma of straw and varnish, with a little wood. Dry and a little tart, becoming strongly tannic and astringent, with a mellow wood finish. Quite challenging, due to the dry astringency. Depth and complexity, but not the easiest to drink. Interesting, but you may want to share the bottle.
