Silly Ewe

Straight up farmhouse cider. Not as crushingly dry as some, has sweet notes running through it. Really rather quaffable.

I like this a lot. It’s an unusual flavour that is almost like a scrumpy mixed with a delicious cider vinegar. It’s a gorgeous amber colour, but I must disagree with my fellow reviewer, no scent of oak within a twelve foot radius. Sorry. 😎

Typically dry Herefordshire cider. Rich golden colour and strong almost vinegary aroma and taste. Cant say it was overly enjoyable, but worth a try if tart farmyard scrumpynis to your taste.

Straight from the farmyard flavour. If you like your ciders with an old fashioned taste, drink this. Has a gentle burn and not too bitter despite its listing as a dry cider.

Deep amber colour and very clear. It’s a bit sharp with some good funk. Pleasant aftertaste.

I think it would make a nice salad dressing. My fellow tasters like it but it’s a bit too much for me.

Comes in a 568 ml (1 Pint) bottle. Amber in colour, with an aroma dominated by oak. Initially a ripe, fruity flavour, becoming dominated by tannins and oak. As usual from Gwatkin, well-made and well-balanced, but this one lacked a little depth compared to other Gwatkin ciders.
