This is part of the “Cider Maker” tiny batch special going on currently. Ginger and hot peppers on the nose with a reddish tint from the cranberries. It is a cranberry cider with ginger, habenero and serrano peppers balanced out by meadowfoam honey and freshly squeezed tangerines. The taste is hard to describe...it’s moderately carbonated and the ginger/peppers stick out to me. Different sips offered different tastes. At times I could taste the cranberry and at times I felt a smoothing aftertaste of honey. I didn’t taste the tangerines much, I feel they were concealed by the spicy peppers. This cider is not hot, but then again, I’m a lover of spice so take that as you will. It’s definitely a good cider, but I prefer wild, out of the box cider.
