Golden, a bit cloudy. medium dry. Sandford Orchards ciders are pleasant enough, but several are much of a muchness. Takeout from Dudley Winter Ales Fayre.

I love this. So dry. Excellent. Deep bronze colour with a sharp dry bite, bitterness but loveliness and overall one of the best I’ve had in ages. Would go great with cheese - a strong cheddar as the oaky and ‘burnt’ taste after the initial sharpness is divine. Hints of vanilla and subtle caramel as well. Lovely. Strong aroma on the nose, cloudy with light fizz and a light to medium aftertaste than lingers around in your mouth. The light bitterness at the end leaves a tingling quality, with a hint of spice and cinnamon. Would definitely buy this Devonshire cider again - and at 6.7%, you could have a few and not end up legless. Better than the other Sandford Orchards cider which often, have been fairly average.
