Rib Tickler

Clear, pleasant medium cider, tasted fruity more than dry. 500ml bottle.

This was on hand pump. Pale yellow, clear and still. Mild baked apple aroma with oak. A little honey in the taste and a woody finish. Smooth and mild. Very drinkable.

500ml bottle from Crafty Nectar. Yellow gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fruity apple, light funk. Taste is tangy apple, fruity, some apple core, hints of caramel, oak & funk, with light tannins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry light tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

Strong aromas of honey and baked apple, ripe and buttery on the palate, with a moreish apple skin flavour, balanced with a crisp, natural acidity. Apparently Rib Tickler began life as a collaboration between Sandford Orchards and the local Rugby Players Association to encourage professional rugby players to gain experience outside of sport, and every bottle or pint of Rib Tickler sold helps to support the incredible work of the Wooden Spoon Charity.
