Comes in a tall, slender-necked, 500 ml, corked bottle.
Intense, dark bronze colour, with a raisin and wood aroma.
Smooth, sherry-like flavour, quickly becomes dry on the palate, and develops a somewhat bitter, apple-skin aftertaste, with dark tannins in the finish.
Very different from other ice ciders I have tasted, especially in the dryness, and bitter aftertaste. More of an aperitif, or a cocktail base, than others, too. Not entirely to my taste.
