2023 Vintage

Light golden, clear. Thatchers is about the only cidery where I prefer bottles to bag-in-box. On pouring, an initial impression of very high carbonation settles down to an acceptable level. As usual with Thatchers, what they call medium dry I'd put on the sweet side of medium. The 8.3% ABV is a plus, and it's certainly more my type of thing than Cheddar Valley. But then again, maybe the Christmas holiday is clouding my judgement.

Light golden colour, clear with moderate fizz. Light apple aroma with an overpowering artificial sweetness. Not much flavour. A little apple, a little wood and quite watery.
