Well, I bought it for a laugh.. Here we go.. Well it's purple and clear, and as all Thatcher's bottled cider someone it has a head like an ale... But it's pink... what they put in this apple "juice" to get it so foamy I have no idea.. Smells of blackcurrant with a hint of alcohol and the typical Thatcher's straw aroma. Instant ribena flavours not as tart or sour as you should get from blackcurrant, which is a shame. Bottle does say it has used desert apples these come through at the end. But I imagine something had been added to artificially sweeten this drink. Lacking any complexity to appeal to the masses. Would be superb if your 15 getting drunk in the park because it tastes like squash. It probably has its place on a hot sunny day in a beer garden as it is refreshing. Not my idea of a pint, left half of it for my partner. Bought in Tesco.

A rich tasting sweet fruity cider with a deep blackcurrant strong flavour. Very refreshing ice cold and very drinkable, would like this on a summers day. Deep purple colour with a moderate fizz.
