Dark amber colour completely clear. Highly carbonated, on the pour had a head. Aromas of oak or tannins. Thick texture (syrup?). Mild oaky tannin flavours, the Dabinett apples certainly shine through. Certainly not much dryness going on here. Like most of Thatchers commercial cider it is a sweet cider. Not unpleasant and would certainly take ot over a gold. Bought in generic supermarket.

Not too bad. Rated by Thatchers as a full bodied medium dry Somerset Cider. Produced using, amongst others, Redstreak, Dabinett and Tremlett’s varieties of bittersweet apples.

Made from bittersweet cider apples, including favourites Redstreak, Tremlett's, and Dabinett. Fruity aroma with yeasty undertones. Greenish-yellow in colour, and pours with a head. The flavour is rich, mellow, and buttery, with a hint of bitter skin in the aftertaste. Enjoyed this one more on a second tasting. Good quality and easy-drinking.

I liked this one! Golden colour, rich apple-y flavour. It's described as a 'Somerset' cider on the thingie which is on top of the pull handle.
