This is much better than the 2020 version which tasted like syrup. Still too sweet for a vintage cider but a vast improvement. Still slightly syrupy. Probably the best Thatcher's cider commonly available in the big supermarkets.

Thatchers Vintage 2021 (7.4% ABV, 500ml). Made from bittersweet apples from a single vintage. Contains sulphite. Bright, clear golden colour. Aroma of baked apples, slightly tart, with bitterness and faint honey. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Baked apples on the palate, too, oaky tannins, some vinegar. Drier finish with apple skins, tannins. Mild aftertaste of yellow apples, apple skins. Pretty good Thatchers cider. With a slightly fuller body and less carbonation it could have been very good indeed. As is, 7/10.
