Tried on tap at the Locust Cider tap room in Woodinville WA. They fermented it with apple rings that had been smoked on alder. I was told this batch had less smoke than some previous ones. I definitely would have liked more smoke (as a point of reference I LOVE Alpenfire Smoke), as it only had a hint of smoke flavor. This was way sweeter than I was expecting too. Overall I enjoyed it though, with its maple flavor with hints of honey and alder wood. Very apple forward. With more smoke and less sweetness it would have been amazing though.
