Right on the edge of too sweet given its low tartness. But the overall rich taste and thick mouth feel make for a very tasty drink.

Bittersweet apple scent with hints of orange and spice. Semi-sweet to sweet. Rich, smooth, and luscious! Caramel notes, full flavored, and medium bodied. Lovely mild to moderate tannins. This reminds me of English-style cider, but its a bit more approachable than some, and the hint of orange spice is nice (even though I usually don't like those sorts of flavors). No bitterness, which can be difficult to pull off. Yum! Limited release of 1,000 bottles and a few kegs in the Seattle area. I sampled a bottle with friends, then purchased one ($18 for 750ml at the Schilling Cider House). I think this is by far Locust's best cider...their multi pack ciders are quite mildly flavored. Washington Dessert Apple was tasty, but had some bottle conditioning issues (way fizzy, and I had a sample from a bottle a few months after bottling which actually went quite dry). Haven't had their new ginger cider though.
