Vanilla Bean

I reviewed this in 2017 in my earlier reviewer incarnation, but I feel compelled to review it again. My original review was of a cider that was much better than what I’ve gotten on draft, today. Todays has a strong vanilla flavour but wwwaaayyyy too sweet for my liking. The vanilla flavor over powers the apple and tastes artificial to me. Either my taste buds were on drugs last time I had this, in 2017, or the blend has degraded a lot since that time.

A dessert cider, nice mouth-feel, strong vanilla flavor, clean finish. After-dinner only.

Sooooo yummy! Light fruit taste but medium body. You can taste the fullness. Barely sweet and still for sure. Loving it!

I was skeptical of a vanilla cider but I shouldn't have been- this is an excellent drink. Kinda like apple pie meets ice cream. A nice blend of apples, perhaps a little strong on the vanilla but still very tasty. I would definitely drink often

What Dave said. AND I have to say that this is smooth, delicious and it's flavors are well integrated. A bit like a vanilla caramel apple, but not at all too sweet.

Only gave it 3 stars because I thought it could of had a better vanilla taste. It’s super smooth, would buy if it was in tap at a bar.

I saw the vanilla bean name and was I dubious. I’m used to a apple or fruit blended cider, so when I tasted this one I wondered how the vanilla flavor would work. Well I was shocked to taste the rich full bodied flavor that the vanilla gave the cider. It added multi-dimensional levels to the cider. I loved it. My favorite cider so far.

Tastes like vanilla cream soda or melted vanilla bean ice cream. The vanilla is overpowering, and makes it seem like this is not even a cider. It is impressive that one can put this much vanilla into an alcoholic drink. Wonder how it would be as a sorbet.

Even a taster was too much- too sweet, no fruit, and tastes like cream soda.

One of my go to’s. The vanilla is unreal on this one.

Clear yellow pour with very light carbonation. Light aroma of vanilla. Taste has an interesting cream soda like flavor that has a strong vanilla presence and light, almost hidden apple flavor. Light bodied and drinks very easy.

Just too sweet and lacking any apple flavor.

For me this is super sweet and I think would be great with some carrot cake! Best served super cold.

Doesn't smella vanilla. Nice and mildly sweet. But a bit much for drinking

Bottle pour at their tasting room. I LOVED the flavor (vanilla creamsicle with hints of citrus & pineapple), but it was too sweet to have a significant amount of. The bartender said she likes it mixed with their berry ciders.
