Reddish brown, rich, sweet, funky, mine more turbid than previous reviews. Apparently it has won a number of awards, but won't get one from me.

Dark copper-coloured, with a waxy, ripe fruit aroma, reminiscent of furniture polish. Rich and sweet, with a slight tang of apple skin, and a honeyed aftertaste, with soft tannins and a hint of aged wood. Pleasant, but unremarkable, though very easy to drink; a little too sweet and cloying for my taste.

Copper coloured, clear with mild fizz. Aroma of over ripe apple and I also get the scent of polish. Flavour of wood and honey. This is rich and tannic.
