Flavored with apple. Semi-sweet, strongly astringent, and somewhat tart.

The scent of this is Sage. Yes, the spice you've tasted in turkey stuffing. But I don't taste it after the first millisecond. A completely different flavour kicks in after that however, which I'm guessing is the red currant flavour. Unless you're a big fan of Sage, you may be daunted by the nose...but give it a swallow. I like the 'backtaste' on this one a lot better than first taste.
