2021 Vintage Organic

Golden colour, moderate light fizz and clear. Light ripe apple aroma. Baked apple flavour with honey. Completely inoffensive and drinkable but certainly far from memorable.

I'm actually reviewing the 2022 organic vintage (can't be that different can it?) Light clear golden colour, medium carbination. Mild farm funk on the nose, typical apple aromas. I'm sure this had more flavour previously. This doesn't taste as out there as it used too. There are no strong acidic or tanic/oaky hits anymore. They're mostly all there but they feel much more mellow to the point of being dull. Starts off nice mild bitter sweet apple flavours followed tannic hits, but very little acidic tones now. I really want to like this because previously it was great, but I'm just left disappointed. That said it is a pleasent cider and will probably suit the masses more (which seem to be the direction sheppy's is heading). I'll take it over the vast majority of ciders out there. Bought this from their farm shop near Taunton.
