Don’t dislike it, don’t hate it either. Good solid all-day cider, this one - a bit like it says on its label. The festival goers will love this one. It’s Sheppy‘a version of Inch’s essentially, except this is a single variety - so let’s give it some credit there. Red apple in taste, little to no fizz, almost still (the bottle I had, anyway) medium-sweet and extremely drinkable. This cider is smooth, like silk, sweet (without being too sticky) with a hint of banana and sherbet. It’s slightly watery but that’s not a bad thing, it just helps wit go down. In terms of colour it’s light bronze with a hint of rose gold. Very clear and vibrant. On the nose it has little or nothing to offer, a hint of fruit perhaps but this isn’t exactly the target market here - this is to be quaffed with friends on a hot summer day - and at 4.0%ABV gives you the option of it being a session cider. Sheppy’s have much more sophisticated entries for the keen cider follower and I’d recommend you seek those out (see my other reviews) - but for what it is, I can’t fault this cider. The Redstreak is definitely one I’d try again given the choice. Would love to try it on tap if it’s available anywhere. 3/5

Light golden colour, clear with light carbonation. Single variety cider. Sour apple aroma. Flavour is rich with apples and minerals.
