Made from locally and sustainably grown apples at Eden Orchards. Bright, tart, and crisp; yellow in color; very lightly carbonated. The can describes the taste as “apple sunshine,” and that checks out!

This cider has a light golden pour with little effervescence. It is a minimally tart and tannic, easy drinking cider with nice apple aromas and flavors.

As before, I appreciate the can listing the apples (Dabinett, McIntosh, Empire, Spartan, Esopus Spitzenberg) and dryness (semi-dry). Trying it alone, I mostly tasted sweetened applesauce, so I tried it with a suggested pairing: lamb curry. It went well with the spice and was much more drinkable that way. Overall, I preferred the Deep Cut variety from Eden, the drier style just appealed more, but this was very drinkable and might appeal to those who like things sweeter.

Clear gold pour. Moderate carbonation. Light to moderate apple aroma. Very nice strong apple and mineral flavor that has a bright acidity and a hint of leathery tannins. Light bodied. Very light tartness.

Golden colour, clear with light fizz. Made from several varieties, many of which are new to me. Fleshy aroma with spirits. Apple peel flavour. Sharp with light tannins.
