Heirloom Blend Ice Cider, Brandy Barrel Aged

Comes in a 375 ml long-neck, draw-cork bottle. Dark copper colour, with an aroma of pomace and skin, carrying light oak. Lightly syrupy, intense, ripe fruit flavour, with a suggestion of plumminess, becoming a little tart as the aftertaste develops, revealing skin tones, before finishing with soft tannin and a hint of oak. Complex and not too sweet. Very sippable, like all the Eden ice ciders, and with a nice twist from the barrel aging.

Clear dark copper pour. Aroma of brown sugar and alcohol. Taste has a nice smooth caramel flavor dominating over hints of oak, vanilla, and cooked apples.

All I need to say is that I took this and shared it and the bottle was gone before I knew it! Liquid gold in a bottle. Very strong fruity alcohol aroma, but the taste is straight sugary goodness. Indescribable mouth feel. I would buy cases of this at a time and it'd be gone quickly. Cidrbox delivery.

Amazing! This is their Heirloom Blend ice cider, except aged in apple brandy barrels. I got the 2013 version, $17 for 187ml. Concentrated notes of baked apples, brown sugar, burnt caramel, vanilla, honey, brandy, oak, orange, and a hint of spice.
