Oliver's Twist (Cellar Series # 12)

Light golden colour, strong carbonation and lightly hazy. Single variety cider and undeniably Foxwhelp. Strong fresh apple aroma with some straw. Strong grassy flavour. Very tart and astringent with buttery mouthfeel.

Clear golden pour. Moderate to strong carbonation. Fairly strong apple aroma and nice bittersharp taste with a nice tannic presence. Taste is on the tart side with a distinct bitterness. Buttery mouthfeel.

Comes in a 750 ml bottle. Single varietal from the Foxwhelp cider apple, inspired by a visit to the legendary Herefordshire cider maker, Tom Oliver. Pale golden colour, with a clean straw and sawdust aroma. Mellow, buttery fruit flavour, intensifying and developing soft tannins in the aftertaste, with some grape and grass in the finish. Well-made, balanced cider, bringing some interesting complexity and depth, which makes this very drinkable indeed.
