Clear pinkish red pour. Somewhat boozy aroma with a hint of fruit. Taste is lightly tart with the currant juice at the forefront with some other fruit flavor. Finishes dry with a lingering tannic taste.

Oh, how I've tried to like this. I like Rose ciders, I like Rose wines. But I can't like this. I've tried it chilled, set out to warm to room temperature and waiting for a week after opened. The high ABV might be what killed it for me but I also just am not getting much else from this. Small sips seem to work. Slightly better. Wish I could really like this, though. Eden's newest cider, an Imperial (high ABV) cider from heirloom apples and red currant, sweetened with ice cider. $7 for 375ml, bought through Eden's website as it didn't make it to Seattle. Tart red currant with notes of strawberries, watermelon, honeydew, and raspberry. Long boozy finish, but less than I was expecting for a drier 11% ABV cider. Yum!
