I've had lots of English Scrumpies and this is nothing like them. It's clear, more carbonated, and no where near as flavourful as the UK blends I've been delighted to consume. There's also a bitter hint just before one swallows. Truth be told, I was disappointed in this one. Just ok.

Honey colored pour. Moderate to strong apple aroma with a hint of honey. Taste is moderately bitter, boozy and funky with flavors of baked apple, honey and oak standing out. Has an ice cider quality about it. Full bodied.

Funky Scrumpy. Has the funk I like so much. So they say it's 11percent so maybe that's why there is a bitter aftertaste. However, although they say it's semi dry, o think it's semi sweet. It's nice because it balances the bitter for a nice complex flavor.

Kinda bitter. Well hidden ABV. Light barrel influence. Harsh flavor. Needs to be drank cold.

Can definitely taste the higher alcohol content. It still has a lot of flavor though. Slightly more bitter than most ciders, but still good.
