The pour is a clear rich yellow with medium to high carbonation. The aroma is farmhouse and slightly bitter. The taste is dry, slightly tart with a hint of astringent tannins. The mouthfeel is light. The finish is short to medium astringent and apple. I wanted to try it because I have a batch of Newtown Pippin cider aging right now. I wanted to get a reference. I like it and enjoy it bur it’s not my favorite.
