Comes in a 750 ml champagne bottle, and is made from Harry Master's Jersey and Foxwhelp cider apples, using the methode traditionnelle.
Orange-brown in colour, with an aroma of overcooked apples, a hint of citrus, and a slight underlying funk.
Surprising flavour! An initial mild apple flavour, gives way to a dry, bitter citrus aftertaste, closest to grapefruit, and a lingering finish of gentle funk.
Interesting flavours, and not too gassy, make this a satisfying experience, if not quite up with the very best.
