Comes in a 750ml champagne bottle.
Cloudy and rich amber, with an aroma which combines an earthy, leaf-mould character with tones of oak and raisins.
Ripe fruit flavour, with hints of caramel and vanilla, gives way to soft tannins and subtle oak in the aftertaste.
Very drinkable, if a little over-gassed. This would go with most things, but especially a creamy, but not overripe camembert or brie; the acidity would balance the fat well.
