Golden colour, slightly hazy, which is different from the other pictures and still. Ripe apple aroma with straw and sawdust. Rich apple flavour. Fleshy and juicy.

Light fruit aroma, with a somewhat acrid character, and spiced undertones. Very gassy pour, and a rich, honeyed-golden colour. Cooked apple and apple skin flavours develop a tannic woodiness in the mouth, with the bitterness coming through in the aftertaste. This is a traditional Herefordshire cider (with the PGI mark to prove it), and it has character and complexity to spare.

Draught at Station House, Durham, UK. Golden colour, no head and aroma of mellow apple & barnyard. Taste is tart apple, apple skin, woody, leather, oaky, barnyard, with drying tannins. Medium bodied, low carbonation, dry tart tangy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable
