Comes in a 750 ml bottle.
Hazy, dark amber, with an aroma of ripe fruit overlying leather and oak.
Mellow, slightly buttery, ripe fruit, develops oak and tannins, with some spice, before a strong, bitter finish.
Punchy, robust, and full of character, and an improvement on the2015 Mayflower I tasted earlier. This would stand its ground against heavy pasta, stews or casssoulets, or mature cheeses.
