Comes in a 750 ml champagne bottle.
Light bronze colour, with a strong, pungent aroma of farmyard funk, and a little oak.
Rich funk flavour, with a little tannin in the aftertaste, and a bitter alcohol burn in the finish.
This would be more palatable with a lower ABV. It has the makings of a really good, traditional still cider, but the finish spoils it for me. Interesting to try, but Tom has made better, and Gwatkins do this style much better.
