Rum, Red Wine and Whisky oak barrels with dried fruit fermented with bittersweet cider, intensified with fully fermented ice cider and back sweetened with more ice cider and blended with old Herefordshire Redstreak and Foxwhelp cider. All fermented ambiently by wild yeasts.

Comes in a 750 ml champagne bottle. Light bronze colour, with a strong, pungent aroma of farmyard funk, and a little oak. Rich funk flavour, with a little tannin in the aftertaste, and a bitter alcohol burn in the finish. This would be more palatable with a lower ABV. It has the makings of a really good, traditional still cider, but the finish spoils it for me. Interesting to try, but Tom has made better, and Gwatkins do this style much better.
