As we are now on the 8th edition of At The Hop, this little beauty was probably produced in 2013, and the time since has been spent well.
Deep, rich bronze, with an aroma like good quality furniture polish, overlying a tone of sweaty feet!
The flavour is mellow and richly tannic, with the hops only really evident in the finish and the bitterness of the aftertaste.
If only all ciders aged as well in the bottle as this one! A wonderfully complex and richly-flavoured cider, which was an absolute joy to drink. Sadly, this was the last one on the shelf.
