Yellow/orange cloudy colour.. Slightly funky in smell of apples. Sweet apple flavours followed by oak notes with a drying sensation followed by sweet again. This cider is best left out of the fridge it give far more flavours. This cider is the old recipe for Old Rosie. So it is just a stronger version of the current old rosie, by far the best Weston's has to offer in its range.

Golden in colour with a bitter taste and quite a funky aftertaste. Cloudy full bodied cider with some sediment so does require a slight mix for even distribution of cloudiness.

(Tasted on September 25, 2023) Henry Weston's {Unfiltered] Cloudy Vintage Cider 2022 (500ml, 7.3%). Pale, medium hazy yellow. This one doesn't have added apple juice for the cloudy effect, at least it doesn't say so on the bottle. Slightly sweetish aroma of apple, pears, lemon, mild vanilla. Light carbonation. Very fruity, sweetish start of apples, and, again, pears. Drier and more lemony in the middle, drier still in the finish, with some old oak towards the end. Lemony, green apples aftertaste. Refreshing, quite different from the two Weston's ciders I tried just before. 7/10.

This is really nice. The aroma is quite direct with a deeper funk after its settled in your glass. It’s really pleasant with a light vanilla edge. The taste is mellow with a bit of gruff around the edges (but don’t let that put you off) as it flows on the palate and moulds into a silky and smooth finish that’s medium-full bodied and semi-sweet. This cider would go with an English Ploughman’s lunch. It’s very drinkable, refreshing and easy to drink. It doesn’t taste like it’s 7.4%ABV so this is where it could get deadly! I’m told it’s the recipe for Old Rosie (a still cider by Weston’s, 6.8%), only with a added light carbonation. I love the cloudy colour and hazy sunrise hue and that the sediment just mixes in and doesn’t leave any residue - it makes you ‘feel’ like you’re drinking a real cider, on a cider farm! I think it’s one of the best in the Weston’s range and I’d certainly buy it, and drink it, again! 4/5.

I like Old Rosie, so I am surprised that I did not like this. Making a note to retry it.
