Comes in a 750 ml screw-top bottle.
The Beauty of Bath dessert variety is a rarity; introduced in 1864, it was replaced due to its poor keeping qualities and short season.
Copper-coloured, with an aroma of musty wood and funk.
Apple juice flavour, becoming dry and a little astringent, and with a green apple sourness in the finish.
Interestingly different, with some complexity and depth, but not terribly sessionable, for me, due to that sour finish.
