Comes in a 750 ml champagne bottle.
Rich amber colour, with an aroma heavy on aged oak, and a little edge of manure funk.
Smooth, dry apple, becomes steadily more tannic and oaked in the aftertaste, with a long oak finish.
Produced back in 2011, and bottled in 2014, the long cask-ageing really shows. Punchy oak and rich tannins dominate and make this a real beauty. Ross-on-Wye rarely disappoint and this certainly doesn't.
