White Norman is a heritage variety, now little grown, but once popular and an early favourite of the Bulmers.
Amber-coloured, with a fruity aroma, combining apricot, peach, and papaya.
Fresh, fruity flavour, with a little plum and pear, becoming dry and somewhat tannic.
Enjoyable, and with both depth and character. Nice to see Ross bringing back some of the forgotten varieties, the value of which is self-evident with this single varietal.
