Another single variety cider, made from a heritage cider variety, from this inspired and interesting cidery.
Fruit and yeast aroma, with acridity from the high alcohol content. The flavour is nuanced with cardamom and malt, with the characteristic oak and tannins typical of Ross-on-Wye. Although the initial taste is semi-sweet, there is a dryness in the aftertaste, due to the strong oak and tannins. Not their best, but another high-quality offering.
