Made from an old cider apple variety. Hazy golden colour. It’s a bit wine like but it does grow on you. Interesting flavours but another one that is too dry for me.

The Hagloe Crab is an ancient (1718) and once much-prized cider variety. Cloudy gold, with an aroma of straw and wood, carrying a touch of funk and sulphur. Tart, slightly sour, fruity flavour with gooseberry and quince tones, and with a hint of sulphur, and a little funk in the finish. Unusual, complex flavours, delivering an interesting and quite drinkable cider.
